From 2016 to 2018, workshops by the School of the Architectural Association of London were held in Moscow. During the program, 20 students explored the area around Shabolovka district. This pavilion has become a bright final point of the project. It was built in two weeks next to the main modernist dominant of the district — the Danilovsky market.
The forms of the pavilion are intentionally simple: this is a huge ball with a diameter of 7 meters with a frame at the bottom. There is a space for lectures and workshops inside. The project was highly appreciated by Felix Novikov, a well-known Soviet architect and historian of modernism, co-author of the Danilovsky market.
